For Immediate Release:

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (Aug. 11, 2026) –Jacksonville ER & Hospital today announced plans to bring advanced healthcare services to communities across North Florida. Coming soon to 12625 Beach Blvd., the new medical facility will provide comprehensive emergency, inpatient, and outpatient services and will operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, including holidays.

Jacksonville ER & Hospital is being launched in partnership with Nutex Health, Inc., and was founded by board-certified emergency physicians with a shared vision of delivering exceptional patient-centered care.

“As we prepare to open our micro-hospital doors, I am filled with excitement and pride for the opportunity to serve the families, businesses, and visitors who make up our community,” said Deborah Hickman, Chief Nursing Officer at Jacksonville ER & Hospital. “We are committed to delivering concierge-level emergency, inpatient, and outpatient care, including diagnostic imaging and laboratory services.”

Unlike traditional hospitals, Jacksonville ER & Hospital will follow a modern micro-hospital model that emphasizes accessibility, efficiency, and a concierge-level patient experience. Patients can expect minimal wait times, a welcoming environment, and ample one-on-one time with physicians.

The hospital will provide emergency care, inpatient stays, diagnostic imaging (including CT, X-ray, MRI, and ultrasound), and clinical laboratory testing, all on-site and available for both adult and pediatric patients. Additional services, including surgical care, are expected to be introduced after the hospital opens.

“Our experienced and highly skilled clinical team will be at the heart of our promise to the community —listening with individualized compassion, applying advanced clinical expertise to every encounter, and making a meaningful difference during some of life’s most vulnerable moments,” said Hickman.

Jacksonville ER & Hospital represents an important addition to Florida’s healthcare landscape and demonstrates a strong commitment to innovation, accessibility, and patient-focused care. With the addition of Jacksonville ER & Hospital, Florida will be home to two Nutex Health-affiliated micro-hospitals, joining Starkey Ranch ER & Hospital in Central Florida.

Additional information about Jacksonville ER & Hospital will be shared as it becomes available.
